Chloé’s Kitchen, created for the founder of Brussels’ Kitchen, was designed as a space with a strong identity — a central place to gather, host, and share moments with friends. The project also responds to the need for a characterful setting in which to film recipes. The result is at once a retreat, a creative lab, and a workspace.
The entire layout was reimagined to open up the volumes and create a stronger connection between the kitchen and the dining area, which were previously divided by a wall. By enlarging the opening and transforming the staircase into a built-in bench, the kitchen became the true heart of the project.
This new composition led to the pairing of a candy-pink island with a stainless-steel kitchen, warmed by walnut cabinetry. An ultra-thin steel shelf displays Chloé’s extensive collection of seeds and ceramics, while the stainless-steel countertop conceals storage behind the sink.
